Wednesday 9.3. The German Wine Information brings Marvin Marx, a representative of Weingut Emrich Schönleber, to our Grape Tasting Room. During the evening, a stunning table setting of the farm’s wines will be tasted, fueled by Marvin’s stories. Because good wine and delicious food go hand in hand, small portions in Grape style are enjoyed with the wines.

Weingut Emrich-Schönleber is one of the pioneers in the rising Nahen region.

The farm is located in the village of Monzingen along the Nahe, on the west side of the river. Frank Schönleber and his father Werner cultivate 85% of Riesling on 19 hectares, as well as some Grauburgunder and Weissburgunder.

The farm has a long tradition of growing and making wine, dating back to the mid-18th century. The state reached its current form in the 1960s when Werner dedicated himself to Riesling and the development of the plots. In 1991, the farm was listed among the 100 best German wineries. Since 1994, the farm has been a member of the VDP.

The Schönleber range of wines holds a total of thirty and the annual production is around 140,000 bottles. The wines are definitely among the best in Germany.
